Official Unveiling Of…

Hi everyone.  Sorry I’ve been MIA lately.  Things have been busy, but this week I have something exciting to share – the official unveiling of my business.  Give it up for…

Creepy Geek!  Ok, so the website is still under construction so there’s nothing interesting there at the moment.  But I have a Facebook page and a Twitter account.

So what do you guys think?  I was looking for something that would stand out and be unforgettable but at the same time has something to do with the services provided.  In this case, “Creepy” has to do with helping businesses “creep” (so to speak) up the page ranks in online searches.  The “Geek”part is because I (apparently) know what I’m doing.  With that in mind, the tagline is “Creepin’ Up the Page Ranks”.

And here’s the logo for Creepy Geek:

I love the logo.  I went through DesignCrowd, a crowd sourcing website where designers from all over the world can submit designs for you (more on that next week though).  There were so many wonderful logos submitted, but in the end I picked this because it’s modern and stylish without being too busy.  I also love how the logo is both simple, but there’s still so much going on:

  • It both looks like a C and a G, depending on how you look at it
  • It has an arrow going up, indicating page visits increasing
  • And it kind of looks like the on/off button on a computer

Deceptively simple, isn’t it?

Let me know what you think in the comments.  As always, feedback, suggestions and even just a chat is welcome.
